BUT THEN... just for shits and giggles I changed it back to Bring To This Computer, and VOILA, the connection still works! Strange but true, so try it, if you want to listen to your iTunes songs remotely. After I “deselected” sound under the Local Source Tab of the RDP connection configuration options and told it to Leave At Computer OR Don’t Play, I got my remote connection back as indicated above…

BUT THEN… just for shits and giggles I changed it back to Bring To This Computer, and VOILA, the connection still works! Strange but true, so try it, if you want to listen to your iTunes songs remotely.

Nothing. I still couldn't untick the Safe Mode box. I've now gone back to ITunes 6. Thanks Apple for wasting about 4 hours of my life.
